Kalyan, Mamo, Rawnak together in ‘Jokhon Kokhono’
Popular actor Kalyan Corraya, actress Zakia Bari Mamo and audience-admired actor Rawnak Hasan are appearing together for the first time in the tele-serial ‘Jokhon Kokhono’. The tele-serial, directed by Rahmatullah Tuhin, is being aired on the satellite channel NTV. Dhaka Live has news that the three actors have already shot for the serial this week.
Rawnak Hasan said: “‘Jokhon Kokhono’ is a sophisticated, elegant, well-timed series with a beautiful story. Rahmatullah Tuhin is making the serial with utmost sincerity. As a producer, he is extraordinary.”
National Film Award-winning actress Zakia Bari Mamo, who worked under the direction of Rahmatullah Tuhin in the musical ‘Ananta Trishna’ before the Lux Channel i Superstar contest, said: “I joined the (entertainment) media with the help of Rahmatullah Tuhin. He is a very good man and a talented director. He offers the exact cooperation an artist expects from a producer.”
Kalyan Corraya said: “Rahmatullah Tuhin is a director from whom artists wait to get acting offers. We can learn many things from him.”
Rawnak has recently finished working in the Victory Day drama ‘Juddhey Jabar Golpo’ and is still working in Sumon Anwar’s ‘Sukhi Mirganj’. Mamo has finished working in Arun Chowdhury’s film ‘Altabanu’. Kalyan has just returned to Dhaka after the shooting for the series ‘New York Thekey Bolchi’ under the direction of Rahmatullah Tuhin.
‘Jokhon Kokhono’ is being aired at 8.15 pm every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday on NTV.
